Besides sending and receiving messages, user can also send pictures from their album to share with friends and colleagues instantly.
Voice Messaging or ‘Hold to Talk’
The unique feature of WeChat that people find very useful and efficient is the ‘Hold to Talk’. People can simply send voice messages and save time required for typing using this feature. To send voice messages, users can simply hold Dial button or Space to talk. The voice feature is free to use for all WeChat versions in any platform.
Group Chat Feature
One of the strength of WeChat compared to other apps is the group chat feature. Using Group Chat, users can chat with up to 40 friends or participants at any given time. The improved performance means that even in a large Group Chat, WeChat will perform fast and reliably.
Emoticons and Profile Customizations
To add fun to conversations, WeChat for BlackBerry supports many emoticons. User can also log-in using several methods, whichever is more convenient for them. First, user can log-in to WeChat using their phone numbers, or log-in using a registered WeChat account, or login using Facebook, and from there they can add contacts from their Facebook friendlist.
