Jakarta, 20 June 2012 – Fortune PR was announced to be The South-East Asia Consultancy of The Year by The Holmes Report, an international public relations publication. The PR firm managed to excel over multinational firms such as Edelman, Weber Shandwick, Ogilvy PR, and Vero PR. “We only have one office here in Indonesia, while our competitors for the awards have at least 5 offices in Asia Pacific region,“ said Oscar Prajnaphalla, Fortune PR’s Marketing Communications Manager.
The Holmes Report said that the reason of selecting Fortune PR for the title is because aside from being one of the oldest PR agencies in Indonesia, Fortune PR is also one of the fastest-growing independent Asia-Pacific firms, with headcount increasing four times over the past couple of years as it has added clients such as Tupperware, The Body Shop, Askes (Indonesian National Health Insurance), Dulux, Rolls Royce, and Merck to a roster that includes market leaders including Citilink, the Indonesian national low cost airline; Piaggio, the Italian scooter that recently re-entered the Indonesian market; the Indonesian Infrastructure Initiative; and Bank BTN.
“We are really grateful for this award and would like to extend our gratitude to all our clients, partners, employees, and to Fortune Indonesia Group. We hope that this award can raise Indonesia profile at the Asia Pacific PR scene and inspire all Indonesian PR practitioners,” said Indira Abidin, Managing Director.
Fortune PR and 12 other winners of Asia Pacific Consultancy of The Year will be presented their trophies during the second Asia Pacific SABRE Awards dinner in Hong Kong, 26 September 2012.
