Complete with mydlink Cloud software and compatibility with the D-Link SharePort MobileTM app, users can stream and share media files seamlessly.

The D-Link DIR-868L Wireless AC1750 Dual-Band Gigabit Cloud Router USB 3.0 creates an exceedingly fast home network that connects all computers and mobile devices to the broadband Internet connection. With a dual-band 802.11ac, the device provides cutting-edge high-bandwidth wireless connectivity. Users can stream HD video, make Internet calls, and surf the Internet concurrently from every corner of their homes without interruption. Gigabit Ethernet ports provide highspeed wired connections for up to four PCs or other networking devices. In addition, the DIR-868L comes in a sleek, black exterior that will give an aesthetic finish to anyone’s work station.

The Wireless AC1750 Dual-Band Gigabit Cloud Router USB 3.0 is mydlink Cloud enabled, so users can effortlessly access and view theirs network at any location. Through the mydlink Lite app or mydlink web portal, users can access their mydlink Cloud to see who is connected to the router, change wireless settings, or block someone from using the network connection, via any internet-connected PC, iPhone®, iPad® or Android™ device. For instance, parents can monitor what sites their children are visiting, and stay informed on-the-go. Alert notifications will warn users in the event that intrusion attempts are detected and blocked, or whenever important security updates are available.
File Sharing Right at Your Fingertips
The SharePort Mobile app allows users to connect a USB storage device to the DIR-868L and instantly share documents, movies, pictures, and music with mobile devices. Examples of uses include loading the music library on a USB drive and sharing it with the entire home, streaming media files to multiple devices without interruption, or even save them to your device for offline playback. The intuitive interface lets anyone immediately connect to a variety of entertainment options stored securely on one’s own storage device at home.
Smooth Streaming with Wireless AC
The DIR-868L uses the latest Wireless AC technology, which can provide transfer rates of up to 1.75Gbps (1300AC + 450N). The router operates on both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz wireless bands at the same time using concurrent dual-band technology and six internal antennas. This allows users to browse the web, chat and email using the 2.4 GHz band, while streaming digital media, playing online games, or making Internet phone calls on the 5 GHz band.
Designed for Optimal Wireless Coverage
The antennas inside the DIR-868L and the high powered amplifier are specially positioned on the device to ensure that signals can reach the farthest corners of the user’s home. Furthermore, the Wireless AC1750 Dual-Band Gigabit Cloud Router USB 3.0’s multiple internal antennas improve wireless reception by adjusting antenna positions to where they are most needed to achieve the best possible performance.
Easy to Set Up and Use
Using the QRS (Quick Router Setup) Mobile app on your iOS or Android device, users need simply plug in the router, open the app, and follow a few easy steps to get their home network connected without having to turn on a computer. One can also set upa secure network with the touch of a button using Wi-Fi Protected Setup. When the WPS button is pressed, a new secure connection will be instantly established to any other wireless devices. If users have additional mydlink cloud products, they can utilize the mydlink Zero Configuration by linking it to the DIR-868L automatically with no setup required.

DLNA Media Server
The DIR-868L includes a fully-functional DLNA server for streaming multimedia files including photos, music, and videos to any compatible DLNA media player.
IPv6 Support
Like all new D-Link Routers, the DIR-868L includes support for IPv6, making it forward compatible with the forthcoming changes to the protocol system that powers the Internet.
About the 802.11ac standard
Developed at the IEEE, the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, the 802.11ac standard offers much faster data speeds than the current 802.11n, by sending multiple simultaneous streams of data from access points to devices. Promising easier set up, faster speeds and better connectivity, 802.11ac is ideal for wireless HD and 3D streaming, lightly-compressed wireless display and high-speed synchronization. The increased wireless transfer speeds presented by 802.11ac may also help to improve the battery life of mobile devices. Since files download more quickly, less energy is expended in the long run, resulting in up to six times more power efficiency for the same amount of data.
